Worship is a fundamental aspect of Christianity, serving as a means to express devotion, strengthen faith, and foster a deeper relationship with God.

Sunday morning worship weekly at 10:30am

Sunday evening worship at 6:30pm on the first Sunday of the month

The practical expression of that worship is shown in our work with the toddlers and Adventurers groups, our work with The Wesley's Community Café, pastoral visiting, house groups, the prayer chain, fellowship groups and our support for the Lutheran Church and School in Beit Sahour.

Mission – The Gift of Education

Temple Church is proud to have supported the Evangelical Lutheran Church and School in Beit Sahour, Palestine since the turn of the century. The school was built on The Shepherds' Fields near Bethlehem, in the Palestinian West Bank. Our support started in 1999, after a pilgrimage to the Holy Land where the hardships and restrictions of Israeli occupation were witnessed. With the passing of the years, Temple Methodist Church, and some individual members still sponsor students.

This has been a hugely successful and satisfying partnership offering the gift of education to so many young people over the years, many of whom have gone on to achieve success in higher education and professional careers.

Fellowship is an essential ingredient in the Christian way of life; spending time together , sharing in difficult times and in joy. Fellowship at Temple thrives through pastoral visiting, the more organised monthly Network Fellowship (3rd Wednesday of the month 2.30 to 3.30) and Men's Fellowship (last Tuesday of the month September to May), meetings and house groups.

We offer fellowship beyond the church doors into the to the community through the work of our Wesley's café run by Launchpad.

Our young people are an integral part of our church community, encouraged to grow in faith through participation in the early part of the weekly Sunday morning worship then breaking away to there own activity groups.

Adventure Group is aimed at children between the ages of four and fourteen who also meet on the last Saturday of the month between 3pm and 5pm. Occasional fun days are organised away from the church.

Tiddlers Toddler group is open every Tuesday during Term time 9:30am until 11am.

At Tiddlers, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers can enjoy playing together and learning from each other. We run free play followed by song time at 10:45am. Parents/grandparents/carers are all welcome to join us in a warm friendly place to chat and share a cup of tea whilst the children play.

The church is a large safe space to enjoy different educational activities, and the special seasons are celebrated through song and play. There is a church car park and a ramp or lift to enter the church.

The Leader has trained in NVQ3 child care and completed DBS checks.
